Can I do this is blender? What I do in blender is “Loop Cut and Slide”. Sketchup: I can draw a bezier curve or line on the face of any polygon object. I can then literally drag this countour to the end or anywhere inbetween.ģ.

I then can use the “Follow Me” tool and say contour follow this cube (cube already being a solid shape). I then draw a separate contour shape/object. I then can use the “Push/Pull” tool and drag one of the faces backwards, thus deleting it. I then literally draw a bezier curve on the surface of one of the faces, making two new faces (or if I drew just a straight line). I’m nearly there… what I still can do in Sketchup that I cannot figure out in Blender is the following.ġ.

If you have a more complicated shape then the Follow-Me Tool would come in handy.
